We are seeking an experienced
SAP PP/DS Consultant with strong expertise in
Enhanced Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (EPPDS) to join an ongoing S/4HANA implementation. The ideal candidate will possess both deep functional knowledge and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of EPPDS functionalities in S/4HANA
- Utilize Detailed Scheduling Board to manage and optimize production schedules
- Configure and fine-tune heuristics and optimization algorithms for planning runs
- Work closely with ABAP and technical teams to translate functional needs into technical specifications
- Configure and integrate setup matrices with resources to optimize sequencing and reduce changeover times
- Troubleshoot scheduling logic and planning results, and recommend best practices
- Participate in testing, user training, and cutover activities as needed
- Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to align system processes with business goals
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of SAP PP/DS experience with at least 2 years in EPPDS on S/4HANA
- Proven hands-on experience with the Graphical Scheduling Board and its advanced features
- Strong understanding of optimizer-based and heuristic-based planning
- Solid experience with setup matrix configuration and its impact on planning
- Ability to coordinate with technical teams for custom developments and enhancements
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience working in remote or globally distributed teams is a plus
