About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced SAP PP Consultant with 10–15 years of experience and a strong background in end-to-end (E2E) implementations, S/4 HANA transformation, and MES (Manufacturing Execution System) integration. The ideal candidate will drive manufacturing solutions, optimize production planning processes, and lead SAP PP implementations aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP PP (Manufacturing) implementations across full lifecycle projects (Build → Go-Live → Hypercare)
- Deliver full-cycle E2E implementations in SAP PP
- Design and configure Production Planning processes in S/4 HANA
- Lead and support S/4 HANA conversion / migration projects
- Integrate SAP PP with MES systems
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into SAP solutions
- Configure key PP components:
- Production Orders
- Shop Floor Control
- Label Printing
- Capacity Planning
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Demand Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, QM, SD, FICO)
- Troubleshoot and resolve production support issues
- Develop functional specifications and work closely with technical teams
- Drive process improvements and best practices in manufacturing
- Provide mentoring to junior consultants and lead team deliverables
Required Skills & Experience
Experience
- 10–15 years of SAP experience with a focus on SAP PP
- Minimum 3–5 full-cycle E2E implementations
- Strong experience in S/4 HANA (mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with MES integration (mandatory)

- Deep expertise in:
- Production Orders
- Batch management and serial number handling
- Batch & Material classification
- Equipment master
- Change management
- Capacity planning & scheduling
- MRP (Classic & MRP Live in S/4)
- Planning strategies
- Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes
- Strong understanding of GMP methodologies
Technical / Integration Skills
- Experience with:
- IDocs, BAPIs, APIs, and middleware integrations
- SAP Integrations with all third-party tools like MES , Windchill
- Familiarity with Fiori apps for production planning
Soft Skills
- Strong communication & stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead workshops and solution design discussions
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Team leadership and mentoring capability
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP certification in SAP PP or S/4 HANA
- Experience in manufacturing industries (Pharma, FMCG,Automobile etc.)
- Exposure to Agile methodology
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, or related field
