Role Summary
Seeking an experienced SAP PP Consultant with deep expertise in Production Planning for discrete manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate has handson configuration experience, strong process knowledge, and a proven track record supporting hightech manufacturing operations. This is a remote offshore role collaborating closely with global supply chain and manufacturing teams.

Production Orders
Planning Strategies
MRP / MRP Live
BOMs, Routings, Work Centers
Capacity Planning and Scheduling
- Lead requirement gathering, fitgap analysis, and functional design.
- Create functional specifications for RICEFW objects and work with technical teams.
- Support enhancements, rollouts, testing (SIT/UAT), and cutover activities.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, procurement, and quality teams.
- Ensure compliance with SOX, audit, and internal controls.
- Maintain master data integrity (materials, BOMs, routings, production versions).
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of handson SAP PP functional experience (no exceptions).
- Strong understanding of discrete manufacturing processes.
- Hightech manufacturing experience is mandatory (semiconductor, electronics, hardware, or similar).
- Expertise in MRP, production scheduling, shop floor execution, and material flow.
- Experience working in global, multiplant environments.
- Strong documentation, communication, and remotecollaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to S/4HANA (Fiori, MRP Live, Production Planning enhancements).
- Familiarity with MES, PLM, QMS, or 3PL integrations.
- Knowledge of QM, MM, or EWM is a plus.
- Experience in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
