Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP PLM Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) design, configuration, testing, implementation, integration, troubleshooting, and support. The role will be responsible for designing and implementing SAP PLM solutions, supporting end-to-end product development and lifecycle processes, integrating SAP PLM with other SAP modules and external PLM systems, and providing functional guidance across implementation and support engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead SAP PLM design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities based on business requirements.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PLM functional specifications.

Support end-to-end product development and lifecycle processes including Engineering Change Management, Document Management, BOM Management, and Variant Configuration.

Hands-on knowledge and experience in using PLMSI component in SAP S/4HANA to integrate external PLM data.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product data management and process efficiency.

Ensure seamless integration of SAP PLM with related SAP modules such as SAP MM, PP, SD, and QM.

Provide support for data migration, system enhancements, and production issue resolution.

Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and validate SAP PLM solutions.

Ensure SAP PLM solutions align with automotive industry standards and best practices.

Prepare functional documentation, training materials, and user support guides.

Support unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing.

Lead functional design sessions and provide expert guidance on SAP PLM solutions.

Manage end-to-end implementation of SAP PLM functional components and ensure timely delivery.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support SAP PLM integration, enhancements, and process improvements.

Provide functional guidance, mentorship, and knowledge transfer to junior team members and support teams.

Stay updated with the latest SAP PLM advancements and recommend process and system improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Strong hands-on experience in SAP PLM consulting or implementation.

Strong experience in SAP PLM design, configuration, testing, implementation, and support.

Strong understanding of SAP PLM processes including BOM Management, Document Management, Engineering Change Management, and Material Master integration.

Hands-on knowledge and experience with PLMSI component in SAP S/4HANA for integrating external PLM data.

Experience in SAP PLM integration with SAP MM, PP, SD, and QM modules.

Experience in automotive industry or manufacturing environments is preferred.

Strong understanding of engineering and product development processes.

Experience in data migration, system enhancements, testing, and production support.

Experience working with cross-functional teams including SAP PLM, MM, PP, SD, QM, technical, and business teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and functional leadership skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong experience in SAP PLM implementation and support projects.

Exposure to SAP S/4HANA PLM and related integration scenarios.

Experience with PLMSI component and external PLM data integration.

Experience working on SAP PLM solutions within automotive or manufacturing environments.

Experience leading business workshops, functional design sessions, and solution validation activities.

Experience in mentoring junior functional team members and conducting knowledge transfer sessions.

Knowledge of SAP PLM advancements, industry best practices, and SAP guidelines.
