Job Description

We're looking for a highly skilled SAP PLM Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and a strong understanding of how to integrate it with other applications. This role is crucial for converting functional requirements into technical specifications, managing projects from development to deployment, and providing expert support. You will be a key collaborator, working with Product Owners and Architects to deliver high-quality solutions and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Design & Execution: Collaborate with Product Owners and Architects to understand functional requirements and convert them into technical specifications and architecture for SAP PLM.
  • Project & Task Management: Break down tasks, provide accurate time estimates, and contribute to creating deployment packages and system setups.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct unit, smoke, and functional testing. Prepare comprehensive test cases and present solutions to stakeholders.
  • Documentation & Support: Create detailed documentation, including specifications, test cases, and release notes. Manage ticketing tools and processes as part of third-level support.
  • Problem-Solving: Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering.
  • Extensive experience working with SAP PLM.
  • Proven knowledge of PLM processes and their integration with other applications.
  • Fluent in English, with effective communication skills across all organizational levels.

  • Technical Proficiency: Practical experience with SAP PLM and its various modules, including Material Master, Engineering Change Management, Document Management System, Bill of Materials, Classification, and Variant Configuration.

  • Collaboration: Highly collaborative with effective interpersonal skills, able to work effectively and persistently in a global organization.
