Job Summary
GyanSys is looking for experienced SAP PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Consultants to join our SAP practice. The ideal candidate will have expertise in implementing and supporting SAP PLM solutions, enabling organizations to effectively manage product data, engineering changes, document management, and product lifecycle processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and cross-functional consultants to deliver integrated PLM solutions that drive product innovation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and design SAP PLM solutions aligned with engineering and product lifecycle processes.
- Configure and support SAP PLM functionalities, including Document Management System (DMS), Engineering Change Management (ECM), Product Structures, Bills of Materials (BOM), and Classification.
- Implement and optimize product lifecycle processes from product design through manufacturing and service.
- Collaborate with business users to improve engineering and product data management processes.
- Integrate SAP PLM with SAP MM, PP, QM, EWM, SD, and other SAP modules.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for custom developments and enhancements.
- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and deployment activities.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure adherence to SAP implementation best practices.
- Support SAP implementation, rollout, migration, and upgrade projects.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP Engineering Control Center (ECTR)
- Exposure to CAD integrations (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo, etc.)
- Knowledge of Product Compliance and Recipe Development is an advantage
- Experience with SAP Fiori applications
- Experience in end-to-end SAP implementation or global rollout projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Product Design, or a related field.
Experience
- Domain Experience: 3–5 Years
- Relevant Experience: 0–8+ Years
Preferred Certifications
- SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP PLM (preferred)
- SAP S/4HANA PLM Certification (preferred)
