Position Summary
Level: SAP PaPM, L45 - Senior Consultant, Technical Transformation
As a Senior SAP PaPM Sr Consultant, you will be part of client engagements focused on implementing, optimizing, and supporting SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PAPM) solutions. You'll act as a trusted advisor to clients, translating business requirements into robust analytic models, driving transformation initiatives, and ensuring maximum value from SAP PAPM investments.
Work you'll do:
SAP BTP Senior Consultant will be accountable for participating in activities that include technical document knowledge, implementation, testing, hyper-care, and business-process research while adhering to established processes and simultaneously handling critical situations. Candidate will be willing to take up challenges, know key business areas, propose alternatives and suggestions to make solutions sustainable, and develop expertise for the team.
- Lead workshops to gather, analyze, and document client profitability analysis, performance management, and scenario modeling requirements.
- Provide solutioning and expertise on Cost Allocations, Transfer Pricing, Pillar 2 implementation using PaPM.
- Advise clients on best practices for data integration, profitability modeling, and how to leverage PAPM to address complex business challenges.
- Design & Implementation
- Architect, design, and configure SAP PAPM solutions to meet business needs.
- End-to-end implementation, including data modeling, calculation logic, process configuration, and integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
- PaPM Model Optimization aligning with business strategies and functional requirements
- End-to-end implementation, including data modeling, calculation logic, process configuration, and integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Training & Enablement
- Mentor junior consultants and client teams, providing training on SAP PAPM functionality, reporting, and maintenance.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to advance clients use of SAP PAPM, integrating new features, automation, and analytics.
- Lead and support post-implementation reviews and future road mapping

Qualifications:
Must have Skills:
- BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university.
- 6-10 years of relevant experience working on implementation and engagements
- Should have 2-3 End-to-end implementations experience
- Should have knowledge of expertise requirements document and implement it
- Know about end-to-end process, identify and work on any pain points present in the design
- 5+ years in SAP consulting, with at least 2 years focused on SAP PAPM (FS-PER) or related SAP EPM modules.
- Proven track record in leading/supporting SAP PAPM implementations for diverse industries.
- Strong grasp of profitability analysis, cost allocation, transfer pricing, pillar 2 , scenario modeling, and financial analytics.
- Expert knowledge of SAP PAPM configuration, modeling, and integration.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA, SAP BW, and connecting data sources.
- Experience in SQL, data warehousing, process automation, and visualization tools (SAC, BW/4HANA, Tableau, Power BI).
- Proficient in business process mapping, UIs, and management reporting. Good to have Skills:
- Experience in any additional skill area such as Integration, SAP UI5, SAP BTP, MDG, or EWM Technical
