Job Description

  • Lead the migration of user roles from legacy systems to new frameworks (e.g., RightNow use cases), ensuring compliance with SAP security standards.

User Role Assignments:

  • Manage role assignments across SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, FICO, EWM, Fiori) ensuring proper access based on job roles.

Authorization Troubleshooting:

  • Investigate and resolve authorization issues and access conflicts, ensuring security integrity.

Compliance Checks and Audit:

  • Perform compliance checks and audits of SAP roles and user access; address findings per regulatory requirements.
  • Document compliance findings and work with relevant teams to address any identified security issues.

Agile Methodologies:

  • Maintain detailed records of role assignments, changes, compliance reports, and audit trails.

Future Scopes:

  • Prepare for upcoming S/4HANA and Fiori integrations by aligning SAP authorization concepts with future functionalities.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP role mappings, changes, and migration processes.
  • Generate reports on SAP role assignments, changes, compliance status, and fault findings for management review.

Training and Support:

  • Provide training and act as a go-to person for SAP authorization-related questions and support requests.

MM Consultant:

SAP MM Configuration & Implementation:

  • Design, configure, and implement SAP MM solutions including organization structure, purchasing, inventory management, and logistics processes.

Business Process Analysis & Responbility:

  • Analyze business requirements, create AS-IS and TO-BE documents, and prepare Business Blueprint documentation.
  • Prepare and manage templates for Material Master, Vendor Master, Info Records, Source List, and Purchasing Documents.
  • Execute integration testing with other modules (SD, PP, FI), prepare test documents, and support UAT.
  • Develop cutover strategies, support go-live activities, and provide hypercare and post go-live support.
  • Handle Change Requests, write functional specs, prepare test data, and maintain functional documentation.
  • Resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and meet SLA targets for production support tasks.
  • Conduct user training, prepare user manuals, and interact with clients through meetings, emails, and calls

Must have technical skill

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in SAP security and authorization management, specifically with RightNow and legacy systems.
  • Strong understanding of role-based access control (RBAC) and SAP security best practices.
  • Familiarity with Fiori applications is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP functional areas such as Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Sales and Distribution (SD), Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO), and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
  • Experience working in agile environments and familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.

Good to have technical skills

  • SAP Security Certification.(good to have)
  • SAP MM Certification (good to have)
  • Experience with SAP role migration projects and change management.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations related to data security and user access within SAP environments.
