Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP OpenText xStream (Exstream) Consultant with strong expertise in high-volume document generation and output management integrated with SAP systems. The consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting xStream solutions for customer-facing document presentment, ensuring performance, scalability, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and support SAP OpenText xStream (Exstream) solutions for high-volume document generation.
Develop and manage customer-facing documents such as invoices, statements, notices, and correspondence.
Integrate xStream with SAP ECC / S/4HANA output management processes (spool, OTF, PDF, print, batch jobs).
Configure and maintain templates, layouts, rules, and business logic within xStream.
Support batch processing, scheduling, and performance tuning for large-scale document runs.
Provide production support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for xStream and SAP output issues.
Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, technical documentation, and UAT support.
Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements related to xStream and output management.
Ensure security, compliance, and audit readiness for generated documents.
Collaborate with SAP functional, ABAP, Basis, and infrastructure teams for seamless delivery and operations.
Perform knowledge transfer and operational handover documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP OpenText xStream (Exstream).
Strong expertise in document composition, output management, and presentment solutions.
Experience integrating xStream with SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
Solid understanding of SAP output frameworks, spool processing, and batch jobs.
Experience handling high-volume, performance-critical document generation.
Proven experience in production support and system optimization.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
