Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP BW on HANA / SAP Native HANA Consultant with strong expertise in data modeling, reporting, and analytics. The candidate should have hands-on experience with SAP BW on HANA, SAP Native HANA development, and SAP BO Web Intelligence (WebI). Exposure to SAP BW/4HANA will be an added advantage.
The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to design, develop, and support scalable analytics solutions on SAP HANA platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW on HANA data models, including ADSOs, Composite Providers, and InfoProviders
- Develop SAP Native HANA objects such as Calculation Views, Attribute Views, and Analytic Views
- Perform data modeling and performance optimization on HANA
- Develop and support SAP BO Web Intelligence (WebI) reports and universes
- Work on end-to-end data flows, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytical requirements
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency across reports and dashboards
- Support HANA push-down logic, SQLScript, and AMDP where applicable
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and production support
- Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to team members
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of overall experience in SAP BI/BW landscape
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP BW on HANA
- Solid experience in SAP Native HANA development
- Proficient in SAP BO Web Intelligence (WebI)
- Strong understanding of HANA data modeling concepts
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization in HANA
- Good knowledge of SQL / SQLScript
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and reporting best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Good to Have / Preferred Skills
- Experience or exposure to SAP BW/4HANA
- Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Nice to have AMDP, CDS Views, or advanced HANA features
- Exposure to SAP ECC or S/4HANA data sources
- Knowledge of Agile or DevOps methodologies
