Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled SAP P2P Consultant with 6+ years of experience to support and enhance end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes. The role focuses on hands-on configuration, system integration, and process improvement within SAP MM, while collaborating closely with business and technical teams. The consultant will contribute to implementation and transformation initiatives, including S/4HANA programs, and ensure alignment between business requirements and SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and support SAP P2P (Procure to Pay) processes, including configuration in SAP MM and integration with modules such as FI, WM, and SD.
- Participate in SAP implementations, rollouts, and enhancement projects, including S/4HANA initiatives.
- Support integration efforts using IDocs, APIs, and middleware tools (e.g., SAP CPI/PO) with external systems like supplier portals or procurement platforms.
- Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, prepare Functional Specifications (FS), and assist in solution design.
- Configure and support key MM processes such as subcontracting, consignment, third-party procurement, and stock transport orders.
- Assist in business process mapping and documentation using tools like JIRA, Signavio, or similar platforms.
- Participate in testing cycles (unit testing, integration testing, UAT) and support deployment activities.
- Ensure data accuracy, compliance with internal controls, and support audit requirements.
- Provide support for ongoing enhancements, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, finance, and IT.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM and P2P processes.
- Strong understanding of SAP MM configuration and integration with FI.
- Working knowledge of SAP integration technologies such as IDocs, ALE, BAPIs, and RFCs.
- Experience in writing Functional Specifications and supporting development activities.
- Good understanding of procurement processes including subcontracting, consignment, and third-party procurement.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA or ServiceNow for tracking and documentation.
- Understanding of financial processes such as GR/IR, invoice verification, and tax basics.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori applications related to procurement.
Good To Have Skills
- Exposure to SAP Ariba integration or Vendor Invoice Management (VIM).
- Basic knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to SAP Activate methodology.
- Understanding of S/4HANA concepts or migration projects.
- Familiarity with process modeling tools like Signavio or Visio.
