Job Description - SAP MM IS Retail Senior Consultant
The ideal candidate, have a proven track record of implementing and supporting SAP IS
Retail Material Management solutions with excellent knowledge of business processes
and best practices in Retail Electronics industry.
As an SAP MM IS Retail consultant, the candidate will be the subject matter expert and in S/4
HANA MM & Retail modules , with in-depth knowledge of Planning ,Procure to Pay
,Inventory & Warehouse processes. Will be responsible for understanding business
requirements, documenting requirements and providing solutions.
Objectives of this role
- Understanding the current Business Process on MM/IS Retail Module
- Responsible for preparing Test Scripts based on Business Process Master List (BPML) for MM/IS Retail Module
- Validation of existing MM/Retail masters & preparation of MM master data for Testing
- Responsible for Unit Testing & Integration Testing
- Responsible for testing & validating the Fiori Apps for MM/Retail Module
- Worked closely with Procurement & Supply chain Sale stakeholders to ensure all PTPInventory related scenarios are tested thoroughly and documented.
- Documenting Test results, preparation of User Manual, Issue Logs.
- Participate in project meetings and give regular updates to project stakeholders.
- Monitoring & Validation of all background Jobs
- Resolve issues from stores, DCs, and Service Centres on Purchase orders, releases, Inventory, master data etc
- Clear queue failures, stuck IDocs, update stock status errors
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Relevant Experience (in Yrs) 10 12 years as SAP MM IS Retail consultant with:
At least 5 years of SAP MM & 4 Years in SAP IS Retail Experience. Functional experience
in Retail operations/processes (Procure to Pay /Inventory/DC/Store).
- At least 1 end to end ECC, S/4HANA SAP IS Retail implementation working as SAP IS Retail MM Consultant
- Must work on Rollout and Support Projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work individually and collaborate with a team.
Technical/Functional Skills and Expectations
Which includes: -
- Enterprise Structure: Purchasing organization, purchasing groups.
- Master Data: Site Master, Article Master, Article Type, Article Category, Merchandise
Category, Merchandise Category Hierarchy, Assortment Management, Business Partner, Info Record, Source List, Migration Cockpit.
- Procurement Process: Complete procurement cycle from Purchase Requisition to Invoicing.
- Stock Transport Order: Inter Company and Intra Company STO.
- Release Strategies: Create Release Groups, Release Strategies, Classifications, Release Indicators, Release prerequisites.
- Inventory Management: Goods receipt, Transfer Postings, Goods Issue, Movement types & Automatic account assignment, Batch Management & Serial Management.
- Pricing & Valuation: Pricing Procedures, Conditions, Access Sequence, Split valuation.
- Physical Inventory: Physical Inventory Document, Print Physical Inventory Document, Recount, Enter Count, Post Differences.
- Batch & Serial number Management, RFID
- Merchandise Distribution: Allocation table, Collective PO process.
- Material Requirement Planning: Requirement Planning and Replenishment Planning.
- Data Exchange: Interfaces between SAP & third party systems
- Good to have knowledge in S/4 HANA Activate Methodology.
- Good to have knowledge of In-store Merchandise Management.
- Good to have knowledge of WM/EWM Module
- Good to have knowledge in activating the Standard Fiori Apps of MM/IS Retail Transactions.
- Certification in SAP Retail /S/4HANA MM module is added advantage
- Working Experience in Retail/Electronics industry is added advantage.
