Description SAP MM S/4HANA Consultant to join our SAP implementation and support team. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM) with hands-on experience in S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, and support projects.
The consultant will be responsible for delivering end-to-end procurement and inventory management solutions while ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Highly skilled SAP MM S/4HANA Consultant with strong experience in end-to-end implementations as well as L2/L3 production support.
- The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge of SAP Materials Management (MM) and hands-on exposure to S/4HANA environments, including greenfield/brownfield implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and postgo-live support.
- The consultant will work closely with business users, technical teams, and cross-functional SAP modules to deliver scalable and efficient procurement and inventory management solutions.
- Lead and participate in end-to-end SAP MM S/4HANA implementation projects (Blueprint to Go-Live).
- Conduct business requirement gathering workshops and prepare Business Blueprint documents.
- Design and configure SAP MM processes including :
- Enterprise Structure (Company Code, Plant, Storage Location, Purchasing Organization),
- Material Master & Vendor Master (Business Partner in S/4HANA),
- Procurement Cycle (PR, RFQ, Quotation, PO, Contracts, Scheduling Agreements),
- Inventory Management and Valuation,
- Goods Receipt (GR) and Goods Issue (GI),
- Invoice Verification (MIRO),
- Physical Inventory.
- Configure automatic account determination and integration with SAP FI.
- Work on S/4HANA simplification items related to MM.
- Utilize SAP Fiori apps for MM processes and reporting.
- Prepare functional specifications for RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
- Coordinate with ABAP developers and technical teams to ensure correct solution delivery.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support.
- Support data migration activities, including master data and open transactional data.
- Participate in cutover planning, mock runs, and go-live activities.
- Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP MM-related issues.
- Analyze and resolve incidents, service requests, and defects within defined SLAs.
- Perform root cause analysis and permanent fixes for recurring issues.
- Handle change requests, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to inventory and procurement.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (FI, SD, PP, WM/EWM) for issue resolution.
- Provide user assistance, guidance, and knowledge transfer.
- Prepare and maintain support documentation and SOPs.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP MM module with S/4HANA implementation and support exposure.
- In-depth understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes.
- Experience working with Business Partner concept in S/4HANA.
- Exposure to IDocs, Interfaces, Enhancements, and Forms.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori apps for MM.
- Ability to create functional and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud
