Job Description
The SAP MM Consultant plays a crucial role in the implementation, customization, and support of SAP MM module to meet the business needs. They are responsible for analyzing and optimizing the operations related to procurement, inventory management, and material resource planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business users to gather and understand requirements for SAP MM module.
- Customize SAP MM configurations to align with procurement processes and inventory management.
- Provide expert guidance on material master data management and optimization.
- Conduct workshops, training, and knowledge transfer sessions to end users and project team members.
- Participate in system integration testing and support user acceptance testing for SAP MM module.
- Identify areas for system improvement and recommend solutions to enhance business processes.
- Assist in the resolution of production support issues related to SAP MM module.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP MM with other SAP modules and legacy systems.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation related to SAP MM implementation and configurations.
- Stay updated with SAP best practices and industry trends to provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience working as an SAP MM Consultant in large-scale implementations.
- Strong knowledge of SAP MM module, including procurement processes, inventory management, and material resource planning.
- Hands-on experience in customizing SAP MM configurations and conducting end user training.
- Proficiency in analyzing and resolving complex issues related to SAP MM module.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and end users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Certification in SAP MM is a plus.
- Experience with SAP ERP integration and system upgrades.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and meet project timelines.
