We're looking for an experienced and highly skilled SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep functional expertise in various aspects of Purchasing, Procurement, and Inventory Management, with a proven track record of successful design, configuration, and implementation. You'll be instrumental in gathering client requirements, preparing design documents, and configuring robust SAP MM solutions, including integration with other modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering & Design: Engage in client meetings to meticulously gather requirements for Purchasing, Procurement, and Plant Operations.
- Prepare comprehensive design documents for Purchasing and Plant Operations, covering configuration, enhancements (e.g., User Interfaces, material identification solutions), and reports.
- Master Data & Core Configuration: Configure and customize essential Master Data, including Material Master, Vendor Master, and Purchase Info Records.
- Configure core Inventory Documents such as Goods Receipt (GR), Goods Issue (GI), Stock Transfer Orders (STO), and Transfer Postings.
- Procurement Process Implementation: Design and implement various SAP procurement functionalities, including Vendor Evaluation, Release Strategies, and Procurement of External Services.
- Configure and manage Quota Arrangements, Reservations, Contracts, Schedule Agreements, and RFQs (Request for Quotations).
- Work with Service Masters and facilitate Legacy Procurement Portal integration.
- Utilize BOMs (Bills of Material) in relevant scenarios.
- MRP & Capacity Planning: Configure MRP controllers, MRP groups, parallel processing, and Scheduling parameters within Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
- Configure graphic profiles for Capacity Planning/Leveling in Repetitive Manufacturing.
- Advanced Processes: Implement AUTO GR (Automatic Goods Receipt) processes based on confirmations received via EDI transmission from sub-contracting vendors or distributors.
- Cross-Functional Knowledge: Possess working knowledge of Sales and Distribution (SD) OTC (Order to Cash), Revenue Recognition, Delivery Based Billing for goods and services, and Customer Billing Forms.
- Experience with picking customer-based Conditions in sales orders and implementing BRF+ (Business Rule Framework plus) for user-specific scenarios.
- Familiarity with AR (Accounts Receivable) operations with GL Accounts.

- Experience: Proven hands-on experience in SAP MM, covering the responsibilities listed above.
- Experience in client-facing roles, including requirements gathering and leading design discussions.
- Strong configuration skills across core MM areas.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare comprehensive design documents and functional specifications.
- Domain: SAP MM Consultant (Implicitly, cross-functional understanding in SD, FICO, PP is highly valuable).
