SAP S2P Mid-level Consultant (MM, Ariba)

We are seeking an experienced SAP Source-to-Pay (S2P) Mid-level Consultantwith expertise in SAP MM & SAP Ariba to join our Implementation and AMS team. This role is ideal for a professional who can work in Ariba-centric S/4HANA transformations, with SAP experience in handling data migration and realization through intelligent procurement and invoicing solutions.

You will work in S/4HANA and Ariba implementations and AMS, identify gaps across the S2P lifecycle, and design scalable, future-ready solutions aligned with SAP best practices. The role may involve close collaboration with customers, business stakeholders, and internal teams across implementation, pre-sales, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Data Migration Expertise in MM, Ariba and VIM

• Working in this role includes:
  • Handling the Data Extraction and Transformation
  • Preparing the FDS for the changes in the Data Extraction, Transformation programs
  • Understanding the impact of process changes on the data migration strategies
  • Experience in handling IS-Oil relevant data the Data Load errors
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Define and design end-to-end S2P solutionswith strong emphasis on:
  • SAP Ariba Upstream (Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle)
  • SAP Ariba Downstream (Buying, Invoicing)
  • Integration with SAP S/4HANA MM and Finance
• Act as the Ariba consultant during customer engagements, ensuring alignment with SAP standard content and roadmap.

Architecture & Governance

• Develop S2P / P2P target architecturesintegrating:
  • Business processes
  • Data and master data governance
  • Application and technical architecture
• Drive architecture governance and methodologies to ensure consistency and alignment across S2P and broader SCM domains.
• Support customer roadmaps for Ariba-led digital procurement and invoicing transformations.

Pre-Sales & Customer Engagement

• Actively participate in the customer engagement lifecycle as a core member of the account team.
• Support pre-sales activities, including:
  • RFP (Response for Proposal) preparation
  • Ariba solution positioning and estimations
  • Customer solution discovery workshops
• Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor for Ariba and S2P transformations.
• Proactively introduce innovative topicssuch as:
  • Touchless invoicing
  • Supplier collaboration and compliance
  • Process automation and analytics in S2P

Integration & Process Expertise

• Support SAP Ariba integrationscenarios, including:
  • Ariba-S/4HANA integration
  • Ariba and VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) integration
• Demonstrate strong functional expertise in:
  • Invoice Verification
  • Accounts Payable
  • Exception handling and compliance processes

Thought Leadership

• Stay current with SAP Ariba roadmap, S2P trends, and SAP portfolio evolution.
• Contribute to practice building, accelerators, and reusable solution assets.

Mandatory Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on SAP experience, with strong focus on SAP Ariba and MM.
• Proven experience as a Sap Consultant on SAP S/4HANA P2P and Ariba implementations.
• Experience in data migration, including:
  • Material Master
  • Business Partner (Vendor)
  • Purchasing Contracts
  • Open AP items
  • Open Purchase Orders
  • Purchase Info Records
  • Source Lists
• At least 2 projects as SAP Consultant with hands-on involvement.
• Strong proficiency in:
  • SAP MM (Purchasing, IV, AP integration)
  • SAP Ariba Upstream & Downstream
  • SAP Signavio
  • SAP LeanIX
  • SAP Cloud ALM
• Strong expertise in P2P / S2P business architecture, including SAP Activate and RISE with SAP methodologies.
• Ability to identify Ariba-driven S2P opportunities, solution gaps, and define gap-closure strategies.
• Experience aligning with customer procurement, finance, and IT stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA SCM and Finance integration.
• Ability to estimate efforts for:
  • Ariba and S2P process improvements
  • Organizational design changes
  • SAP configuration and development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2+ or higher).
