AMK Group is seeking a seasoned SAP Procurement Professional with exceptional expertise in Material Management (MM) and proven experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations. This role is for an expert who has demonstrated strong capabilities across various aspects of procure-to-pay processes, coupled with excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills. You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality, value-adding SAP solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Development:
- Expertly design and build solutions pertaining to:
- RFQ & Quotation, Purchase Requisition (PR) & Purchase Order (PO)
- Raw Material/Packaging Material Purchase, Subcontracting, Consignment
- MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
- Contract and Scheduling Agreement
- 3rd Party Purchase, Asset Purchase, Service Purchase
- Stock Transfer (Intra-Company, Inter-Company, Storage Location)
- Batch Management, Vendor Invoice Verification with OpenText VIM, Credit/Debit Memo.
- Demonstrate profound knowledge in SAP Core Material Management (MM) such as Master Data, Supply Chain, and MM/IM through several implementation engagements with strong configuration involvement.
- Exhibit expert working experience on Inventory Management (IM) like Goods Receipt (GR)/Goods Issue (GI), Scrap process, Physical Inventory, Transfer Posting, Quality Inspection, and Reservation, Release Strategy.
- Write comprehensive functional specifications for Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW) requiring ABAP development.
- Experience in Info Records creation, setting parked invoice workflow, setting Invoice Settlement plan, and automatic settlement.
- Experience in integrating with different SAP or non-SAP systems, including surrounding systems and external legacy systems.
- Configure and manage Enterprise Structure (new sites, assignment to company code, purchasing organization, purchasing groups).
- Handle Pricing & Valuation (Pricing Procedures, Conditions, Access Sequence, Split valuation).
- Work on Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) processes.
- Implement and adapt GST processes in SAP MM as per government norms.
Implementation & Project Leadership:
- Must have implemented at least one SAP S/4HANA project, alongside SAP ECC projects.
- Expert in Fit/Gap Analysis, developing Functional Specifications, performing testing, conducting end-user training, and creating documentation.
- Expertise in ASAP, SAP Activate, and Agile Project Methodologies, including analyzing AS-IS & TO-BE states and suggesting best-suited solutions.
- Resolve incidents, diagnose problem areas, and provide optimal solutions.
- Responsible for requirement gathering, designing innovative solutions, and facilitating deployment/implementation projects contributing to all phases of SAP implementation projects.
- Plan and execute configuration activities, conduct conference room pilots, and assist in resolving queries related to requirements and solution design.
- Develop proposals by owning parts of the document and providing inputs in solution design.
- Conduct solution/product demonstrations, Proof of Concept (POC)/Proof of Technology workshops, and prepare effort estimates aligned with customer budgetary requirements.
- Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives.
- Manage project scope and Statement of Work (SOW).
- Manage client relationships for the project.
- Develop project plans using tools like MS Project.
- Responsible for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and sign-off.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Collaboration & Strategy:
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Performing requirements analysis and documenting communication results.
- Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Adhere to internal processes and customer-specific project methodologies.
- Comply with Knowledge Management processes.
- Follow on-site/off-site methodologies and contribute to continuous enhancement of processes.
- Manage team members reporting on the project.
- Build relationships with various stakeholder interface points.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Academic Background: B.COM, MBA, CA/CWA, BE (Computer / IT), MCA, MSc IT.
- Experience: Seasoned SAP Procurement professional with demonstrated capabilities.
- Core MM Skills: Strong working experience in the procure-to-pay cycle (RFQ, PR, PO, Subcontracting, Consignment, MRP, Contracts, Scheduling Agreements, 3rd Party, Asset, Service purchase, STO - Intra/Inter-Co), Batch Management, Vendor Invoice Verification with OpenText VIM, Credit/Debit Memo.
- Master Data & Inventory: Profound knowledge in MM Master Data, Supply Chain, MM/IM. Expert experience in Inventory Management (GR/GI, Scrap, Physical Inventory, Transfer Posting, Quality Inspection, Reservation, Release Strategy).
- Technical Integration: Hands-on experience with integration with different SAP or non-SAP systems.
- Functional Specification: Experience in writing Functional Specifications for RICEFW objects and coordinating with ABAP teams.
- Taxation: Experience with GST processes in SAP MM.
- Project Experience: Must have implemented at least 1 SAP S/4HANA project, and SAP ECC projects.
- Methodologies: Good knowledge of ASAP, SAP Activate, and Agile Project Methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication (fluent in English), coordination, leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Industry Experience
- Any, or Metal Manufacturing, Steel industry will be an added advantage.
