Job Title: SAP MDM/MDG Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP MDM/MDG Consultant with strong expertise in Master Data Management, Master Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Migration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing MDM/MDG solutions, establishing data governance processes, improving data quality, and supporting master data management across SAP systems.

The role requires close collaboration with business users, functional teams, and technical stakeholders to ensure accurate, consistent, and reliable master data.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and implement SAP MDM/MDG solutions based on business requirements.

Define and maintain master data models, validation rules, and data quality standards.

Develop and implement data governance policies, processes, and standards.

Ensure the accuracy, consistency, completeness, and reliability of master data across SAP systems.

Identify data discrepancies, duplicates, and quality issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.

Plan and execute data migration activities, including data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.

Collaborate with business users, SAP functional consultants, IT teams, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and resolve data-related issues.

Support the integration of MDM/MDG solutions with relevant SAP systems and business processes.

Monitor and audit master data to ensure compliance with established governance and quality standards.

Provide user training and support on MDM processes, system functionality, and best practices.

Prepare and maintain documentation related to data models, governance processes, configurations, and procedures.

Stay updated with relevant SAP MDM/MDG technologies, tools, and best practices.

Track project activities, manage deliverables, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

4–6 years of relevant experience in SAP MDM and/or SAP MDG.

Strong understanding of Master Data Management and Master Data Governance concepts.

Experience in data governance, data quality management, data cleansing, and validation.

Hands-on experience in data migration, including data mapping, cleansing, and validation.

Good understanding of SAP master data and data structures.

Familiarity with SAP functional modules such as SAP MM, SAP SD, and SAP FI/Finance.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex data-related issues.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

Good project coordination and task management skills.

Good to Have

Knowledge of SQL.

Exposure to ABAP.

Experience with SAP integrations and related technologies.

Experience working on SAP implementation, migration, or transformation projects.

Knowledge of Agile project methodologies.
