Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide Application Maintenance (L2/L3) and Development (enhancement) support for SAP MDG activities.
- Configure and customize MDG data models, workflows, and business rules for master data domains (Material, Vendor, Customer, Finance) per approved design.
- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into MDG solutions.
- Develop and maintain enhancements, validations, and derivations using BRF+, BADI, and ABAP.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing support, and defect resolution.
- Support MDG integration across SAP and non-SAP systems and ensure system alignment.
- Perform master data quality checks, cleansing, and harmonization tasks.
- Document MDG configurations, processes, and governance frameworks for compliance and audit needs.
- Support transport management and release activities.
- Provide technical troubleshooting during releases and hypercare periods.
- Assist in user support, troubleshooting, and resolution during system releases and updates.
- Provide inputs to ITIL-based processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in special projects related to data governance and digital transformation.
- Support cross-functional data strategy initiatives involving MDG and enterprise data architecture.
Skills Required:
- Strong experience working with SAP MDG and SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Experience in implementation, configuration, and integration of SAP MDG solutions.
- Knowledge of master data domains such as Material, Vendor, Customer, and Finance.
- Hands-on experience with ABAP, BRF+, BADI, and workflow configuration within SAP MDG.
- Understanding of integration between SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Experience working with SAP SD, SAP MM modules, and SAP Fiori applications.
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks, data quality management, and data harmonization.
- Familiarity with testing processes including unit testing and integration testing.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred).
