SAP MDG Technical

Must-Have

• (Ideally should not bemore than 3-5) MDG Technical, Agile way of working The ideal candidate should be able to deliver strong value from the ABAP, Gateway.
• Good in entire ABAP including ABAP object oriented programming concepts. Knowledge on SAP Workflow.
• Good knowledge in ABAP Core Data Services(CDS).Good knowledge in SAP Fiori Architecture.
• Good Understanding of Data Modelling concepts. Good in analyzing performance issues and should be very strong in debugging.
• Hands on in configuration and execution of gateway projects .
• Strong knowledge in open SQL .
• Good team player, able to work independently.
• Should have basic knowledge in HANA/ S4HANA architecture.
• Should have basic knowledge Fiori. Should have worked in Eclipse ADT tool. Should have knowledge on SAP Functional area like SD,MM, QM etc.

• MDG Functional:
• Must-Have

• Data Modeling: Define data models and data elements necessary for MDG processes, ensuring alignment with data standards and best practices set by the global template.
• Solid understanding of SAP MDG Master data objects including Material, Business Partner, Customer, Vendor and Finance master data model.
• MDG integration experience with SAP and Non-SAP systems.
• Mass Consolidation: Utilize MDG mass consolidation techniques to merge and cleanse duplicate master data records in line with the global template's data consolidation strategy.
• Mass Processing: Configure mass processing capabilities in the MDG system to perform bulk data updates and changes according to the global template's data processing guidelines.
• Design and development experience on customizing MDG master data applications as per business requirements.
• Design workflow approval process in MDG to support multiple business divisions.
• Data Governance Framework: Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures at Corning, considering the requirements of the global template and the ERP transformation.
• Experience with Data migration activities and tools.
• Experience in planning and executing cut-over activities.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot MDG issues and recommend solutions.

Good-to-Have

• Familiarity with data quality management tools and practices.
• Experience with OTC, PTP, RTR, and RTP processes to align MDG with functional requirements at Corning and the global template.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal ski lls to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders at Corning.
• Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements
