Job Description: SAP MDG Technical Consultant
Experience Required: 5+ years overall IT experience with a minimum of 4 years in SAP MDG
Location: Bengaluru
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and develop new features in SAP MDG applications.
- Validate and test developments delivered by other team members.
- Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts for proposed solutions.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for SAP MDG systems.
- Offer deep insights into SAP MDG capabilities in alignment with business use cases (e.g., Material, Customer, Vendor, Financial masters).
- Work on end-to-end implementation projects involving SAP MDG solutions.
- Perform MDG process modeling, change request setup, and change request step definition as per business requirements.
- Contribute to S/4HANA migration projects, ensuring smooth data transition.
- Support UAT and Go-Live phases, addressing issues and ensuring successful deployment.
Technical Skills
- SAP MDG Expertise: Configuration, Data Modeling, UI Modeling, Process Modeling, ALE/IDOCs, Data Replication Techniques, Error Handling.
- Integration & Development: Webservices, WebDynpro, SAP NetWeaver.
- Programming & Tools: ABAP, ABAP Reporting, ABAP Object-Oriented Programming, LSMW, Migration Tools.
- Enhancements & Frameworks: BRF+, BADI Implementations, FPM (Floor Plan Manager), SAP Workflow.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
