SAP MDG SME ROLE
Role Description
:This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions within the MDM team. The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and data governance leads to gather requirements, analyze data, and develop effective SAP MDG configurations and processes. The role involves troubleshooting, enhancing master data quality, and ensuring smooth master data operations in alignment with organizational policies
.Key Responsibilities
- :Develop and implement SAP MDG solutions to support master data governance processes
- .Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into SAP MDG configurations and workflows
- .Design and configure workflows, validation rules, and data models in SAP MDG
- .Should be able to design & manage data governance rules
- .Participate in the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment
- .Perform data quality management activities such as deduplication, data validation, and mastering processes
- .Should be able to configure the UIBB for different objects in SAP MDG
- .Troubleshoot and resolve SAP MDG-related incidents and issues
- .Provide training, documentation, and support for SAP MDG users
- .Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP MDG features and industry best practices

Technical Requirement
- s:Proven experience in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) implementation and suppor
- t.Strong understanding of master data management concepts, including data modeling, workflows, validations, and UI customization
- s.Experience in configuring SAP MDG for various domains such as material, vendor, customer, or financial master dat
- a.Hands-on knowledge of SAP MDG integration with other SAP modules and external system
- s.Experience with data quality tools such as matching, merging, survivorship, and data replicatio
- n.Familiarity with SAP NetWeaver, ABAP knowledge is a plu
- s.Knowledge of number range configuration, business rules framework (BRF+), and MDG data model
- s.Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with business and technical team
