SAP MDG Developer / Technical Consultant – Business Partner

About the Role
Join our global team in driving large-scale S/4HANA transformations for leading international clients. We are looking for an experienced and passionate SAP MDG Developer / Technical Consultant to design and deliver innovative Master Data Governance solutions that shape the digital backbone of global enterprises.

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions specifically for the Business Partner domain (Customer, Vendor, Contact). This includes technical development, workflow configuration, data modeling, and integration to ensure high-quality master data across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP MDG solutions for Business Partner master data using ABAP, BRF+, and BAdIs.
• Configure MDG data models, change request types, and workflows tailored to Business Partner processes.
• Implement field validation and derivation rules using BRF+ and enhancement frameworks.
• Perform SMT mapping and UI configuration for Business Partner entities.
• Support Fiori/UI5 applications related to MDG Business Partner for enhanced user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during testing phases (e.g., SIT, UAT) and post-go live.
• Collaborate with functional teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality and governance compliance through robust validations and process controls.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5-8 years of experience in SAP MDG development, with a focus on Business Partner.
• Strong proficiency in ABAP, BRF+, BAdIs, and Responsibility Management.
• Experience with workflow development (BRF+ and traditional SAP workflows) and Data Quality Management.
• Hands-on expertise in MDG Data Modeling, SMT Mapping, and UI configurations.
• Solid understanding of Data Replication (SOA Services, ALE/IDOCs via DRF+).
• Solid understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) principles.
• Strong skills in ABAP programming and SAP UI5/Fiori development.
• Excellent problem-solving mindset, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
