Job Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP MDG Consultant to design, implement, and support SAP Master Data Governance solutions. The role involves improving master data quality, implementing governance workflows, and ensuring seamless integration of master data across enterprise systems.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in SAP MDG configuration, data models, workflows, validations, and master data governance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP MDG implementations, enhancements, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Configure MDG data models, change request types, workflows, validations, derivations, and user interfaces.
- Define data governance processes, roles, and approval workflows for master data creation and maintenance.
- Implement data quality rules, duplicate checks, and data standardization practices.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional designs and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to support integration with upstream and downstream systems.
- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and test cases, and support UAT.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvements.
- Support data migration, data cleansing, and governance initiatives.
Required Skills
- 5–15 years of overall experience, with strong hands-on expertise in SAP MDG.
- Proven experience in SAP MDG configuration, implementation, enhancements, and support.
- Strong understanding of master data governance, data quality, and approval workflows.
- Experience with requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and documentation.
- Good stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

- SAP Workflow
- Data migration tools such as LTMC and LSMW
- Experience with MDG integrations, data replication, and enterprise rollouts
Education
Bachelor's degree in B.Tech, B.E., B.Sc., BCA, or an equivalent qualification.
