Position Overview

Role Senior SAP MM Functional Consultant

Experience 12 Years

This role requires a high level expert capable of bridging the gap between complex business requirements and technical execution. Whether based onshore or offshore the candidate will act as a strategic solution designer for the Procure to Pay PTP cycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design and Business Consulting

Lead the end to end design of Procure to Pay PTP processes within SAP S4HANA and ECC environments.

Architect solutions for complex procurement scenarios ensuring seamless integration with Finance AP for automated invoicing and payment processing.

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert SME for Coupa integration specifically focusing on Non Inventory purchasing workflows and downstream SAP reconciliation.

Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust Functional Specification Documents FSD.

1. Technical Collaboration and Development

Partner closely with the technical ABAP Fiori team to develop custom enhancements RICEFW objects and API integrations.

Troubleshoot complex integration issues between SAP and external platforms Coupa Salesforce etc.

Guide the technical team on data mapping and logic for seamless information flow between MM and FI modules.

1. Testing and Quality Assurance

Own the Integration Testing IT phase ensuring all cross module touchpoints MM FI MM SD MM PP are validated.

Lead the execution of User Acceptance Testing UAT by collaborating directly with business users.

Manage defect resolution and provide root cause analysis for any functional gaps identified during testing cycles.

1. Stakeholder Management

Manage end user expectations through clear proactive communication.

Provide training and documentation to business users to ensure smooth adoption of new system functionalities.

Onshore specific Act as the primary point of contact for client leadership and onsite business heads.

Offshore specific Ensure high quality delivery and synchronization with onshore leads and timelines.

Required Technical Skills

Core SAP MM In depth expertise in Organizational Structure Master Data Material Vendor PIR Purchasing Inventory Management and Physical Inventory.

PTP Mastery Deep understanding of the full lifecycle from Purchase Requisition to Invoice Verification.

Integration Expertise Strong hands on experience in MM FI integration Automatic Account Determination Tax processing AP workflows.

S4HANA Proficiency Experience with S4HANA migrations Business Partner BP conversion and Fiori based procurement apps.

Coupa Knowledge Functional understanding of Coupa to SAP integration patterns for non inventory spend.

Soft Skills and Qualifications

Experience Minimum 12 years of core SAP MM experience with at least 2 full cycle S4HANA implementations.

Communication Exceptional verbal and written English skills ability to explain technical concepts to non technical business leaders.

Leadership Proven ability to manage workstreams independently and mentor junior consultants.

Education Bachelors degree in Engineering Supply Chain Finance or a related field. SAP Certification is a plus.
