Key Responsibilities
- Work as aTechno-Functional SMEin SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) implementations and support projects.
- Leadrequirement gathering workshopswith business stakeholders for master data objects (Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, Business Partner, etc.).
- Design and configureSAP MDG data models, UI, process flows, and validations.
- Develop and customize solutions usingABAP, BADI implementations, BRF+, Workflow, and Data Replication Framework (DRF).
- Buildinterfaces/integrationwith SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and non-SAP systems.
- Implementdata quality, validation, and cleansing rulesin MDG.
- Supportdata migration and conversion activitiesincludingMDG Data Import (File/IDoc/Direct Input methods).
- Collaborate withfunctional teams (MM, SD, FI/CO, HCM, etc.)to align MDG with end-to-end business processes.
- Providetechnical design documents, functional specifications, and unit testingfor custom developments.
- Ensureperformance optimization, troubleshooting, and defect resolutionin MDG applications.
- Conductend-user trainingand preparesupport documentation.
Required Technical Skills
SAP MDG Functional Skills
- Strong experience inSAP MDG 8.0/9.0/1909/2020/2021 (S/4HANA).
Expertise inMDG domains:
- Business Partner (Customer/Vendor/Employee)
- Material Master
- Finance Master Data (GL, Cost Center, Profit Center, etc.)
Data Modeling in MDG:
- Data Model extensions, entity types, relationships, and attributes
- UI modeling (FPM/Floorplan Manager)
- Change Request (CR) workflows
- Business Rules Framework (BRF+) forvalidations, derivations, and decision tables.
- DRF (Data Replication Framework): configuration, key mapping, and value mapping.
- Understanding ofData Quality & Data Stewardship processes.
ABAP Technical Skills
- Core ABAP: Reports, Enhancements, BAPIs, BADIs, Function Modules, User Exits.
- ABAP on HANA: CDS Views, AMDPs, performance tuning.
- OData Servicesfor MDG Fiori apps.
- Workflow development and enhancement.
- Data migration tools:LSMW, BDC, IDocs, ALE, SLT, BODSintegration with MDG.
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
Integration & Tools
- Experience withSAP PI/PO or SAP CPImiddleware integration.
- Exposure toSAP Information Steward, SAP Data Services (BODS)for cleansing and enrichment.
- MDG-Fiori applications: configuration & customization.
Experience & Qualifications
- 712 yearsof total SAP experience with at least46 years in SAP MDG.
- Hands-ontechno-functional expertisein SAP MDG with ABAP development background.
- Prior experience inend-to-end MDG implementation projects(at least 2 full cycles).
- Strong knowledge ofS/4HANA environment.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Excellent communication, client-facing, and problem-solving skills.

- Knowledge ofSAP MDMandMDG Cloud edition.
- Experience withMDG for Retail, Supplier, or Custom Objects.
