Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP IS-U FICA Consultant to join our team to implement, support, and optimize the SAP IS-U (Industry Solution for Utilities) module, with a strong focus on the FICA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable) sub-module. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of utility business processes, SAP FICA configuration, and integration with other SAP modules such as Billing, Device Management, and Customer Service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and implement SAP IS-U FICA functionality including:
• Contract accounts
• Payment processing
• Dunning
• Clearing
• Returns processing
• Collections and credit management
• Installment plans
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Provide SAP FICA support and enhancements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Billing, CRM, DM, FI/CO) to ensure seamless integration.
• Participate in full lifecycle implementations, upgrades, and support activities.
• Develop functional documentation, test cases, and training materials.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests.
• Work with ABAP developers to implement custom enhancements when necessary.
• Conduct user training and support post go-live activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP IS-U with a strong focus on FICA.
• Strong understanding of utilities industry business processes.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP FICA components: contract accounting, payments, dunning, clearing, and returns.
• Experience in configuration and customization of FICA.
• Integration experience with SAP Billing, CRM, and FI-CO.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Utilities.
• Knowledge of market deregulation and its impact on SAP IS-U processes.
• Exposure to SAP BRF+, BPEM, and Collections Strategy.
• SAP Certification in IS-U or FICA (desirable).
• Experience with Agile project delivery methods.
