Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated SAP Functional Lead MM / WM / EWM to join our SAP support project. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM), Warehouse Management (WM), and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), along with proven integration experience with Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules. Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud will be a strong advantage. This role requires a combination of deep functional knowledge, leadership capabilities, SAP support expertise, and a solid understanding of SAP security and authorization concepts. The SAP Functional Lead will oversee SAP support operations, manage functional consultants, ensure system stability, and drive optimized business processes across the SAP landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert-level functional support and configuration in SAP MM, WM, and EWM modules.
• Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, and change requests based on defined business priorities.
• Ensure seamless end-to-end integration between MM / WM / EWM and PP / QM modules.
• Act as the primary escalation point for SAP functional issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve support quality.
• Manage configuration changes and enhancements to support evolving business requirements.
• Participate in SAP rollout, migration, and enhancement projects, ensuring system stability and optimization.
• Act immediately on high-priority P1/P2 incidents, responding as soon as notified by the team, irrespective of time, to minimize business impact and system downtime. Leadership & Stakeholder Management
• Lead, mentor, and guide SAP functional consultants in daily support and operational activities.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable SAP solutions.
• Handle client communication, stakeholder management, and service delivery effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and automation within SAP warehouse and logistics processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional functional and technical teams to ensure smooth SAP operations.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices and organizational support standards.

SAP Security & Authorizations Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain SAP roles and authorization concepts aligned with business and compliance requirements.
• Perform SAP user administration, including user creation, lock/unlock, password resets, and role assignments.
• Conduct Role Design, Build, Testing, and Deployment across SAP systems.
• Support and manage Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and remediation.
• Perform risk analysis and mitigation using SAP GRC Access Control (if applicable).
• Handle emergency access / firefighter IDs and monitor usage as per compliance guidelines.
• Support audits and compliance requirements, including SOX, GDPR, and internal audits.
• Monitor and troubleshoot authorization issues using tools such as SU53 and STAUTHTRACE.
• Collaborate with functional, BASIS, and development teams to ensure secure and compliant system access.
• Support SAP upgrades, enhancements, and new implementations from a security and authorization perspective.
• Document security procedures, role designs, authorization concepts, and access control policies.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (master's preferred).
• 5+ years of SAP functional experience with mandatory expertise in SAP MM, WM, and EWM.
• Proven integration experience with PP and QM modules.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes across procurement, inventory, warehouse, and logistics operations.
• Hands-on experience in SAP support, rollout, or enhancement projects.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of SAP best practices, ITIL frameworks, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• SAP certifications in MM, WM, EWM, SAP Security, or S/4HANA will be an added advantage.
