We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on SAP Lead to head our Business Applications landscape, including SAP S/4HANA, Point of sale, CRM and other enterprise systems. The role will lead a team of 6–10 members and be responsible for end-to-end ERP governance, SAP process optimization (FICO/MM/SD), vendor coordination, new development initiatives, and integration management across retail operations. The ideal candidate must have completed 1–2 full-cycle SAP implementations and possess strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA configuration (CBC), particularly across MM, SD, and FICO modules.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Governance
● Lead and manage a team of 6–10 ERP/POS support and functional consultants.
● Define ERP and application strategy aligned with business objectives.
● Act as a single point of accountability for SAP, POS, CRM, and integrated applications.
● Establish governance framework, SLA management, and performance KPIs.
2. SAP S/4HANA (Core Responsibility)
● Lead configuration and optimization of:
▪ FICO (Finance & Controlling)
▪ MM (Materials Management)
▪ SD (Sales & Distribution)
● Knowledge and involvement in:
▪ CBC (Central Business Configuration) setup and changes
▪ Business process design and re-engineering
▪ Integration between modules
● Drive enhancements, testing, and rollout activities.
● Ensure compliance with SAP best practices.
● Lead at least 1–2 full-cycle SAP implementations (Design → Build → Test → Deploy → Hypercare).
3. POS & Retail Systems
● Oversee Wondersoft POS support and issue resolution.
● Manage POS integration with SAP and other systems.
● Coordinate with vendor for:
▪ Custom development
▪ Enhancements
▪ Bug fixes
▪ Version upgrades
● Monitor sales billing, stock transfer, and reconciliation flows
4. Vendor & Partner Management
● Manage SAP partners, POS vendors, CRM vendors, and third-party system providers.
● Define scope, timelines, and deliverables for new developments.
● Evaluate and onboard new technology partners when required.
● Negotiate contracts and ensure SLA adherence.
5. CRM & Other Business Applications
● Oversee CRM implementation and optimization (B2B/B2C flows).
● Ensure integration between CRM, SAP, POS, and analytics platforms.
● Support business teams with reporting, dashboards, and automation.
● Drive adoption of digital tools across departments.
6. Integration & Process Optimization
● Ensure seamless data flow between:
▪ SAP
▪ POS
▪ CRM
▪ Planning & allocation systems
▪ Third-party integrations
● Identify process gaps and recommend system-driven improvements.
● Lead API/integration architecture discussions with internal and external teams.
Required Experience
● 10–15+ years of ERP experience, with at least:
▪ 6+ years in SAP MM/SD/FICO
▪ 3+ years in SAP S/4HANA Preferably in Public Cloud
● Completed 1–2 full-cycle SAP implementations (mandatory).
● Knowledge in CBC (Central Business Configuration).
● Strong functional knowledge of:
▪ Retail processes ▪ Inventory management
▪ Procurement cycle (PR → PO → GRN → Invoice)
▪ Sales cycle & revenue recognition
▪ Financial closing processes
● Experience handling POS systems
● Experience managing CRM platforms
