Key Responsibilities

The SAP IS-U FI-CA Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Utilities Financial Contract Accounting (FI-CA) to manage high-volume billing, invoicing, receivables, payments, dunning, and collections processes for utility clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP IS-U FI-CA (Financial Contract Accounting)
• Analyze business requirements related to billing, invoicing, receivables, payments, and collections
• Configure:
• Contract accounts and business partners
• Main and sub-transactions
• Posting areas and reconciliation keys
• Manage account determination and integration with FI-GL
• Configure payment processing (incoming/outgoing payments, clearing, returns)
• Configure dunning procedures, interest calculation, and write-offs
• Support collections management and integration with SAP FSCM
• Handle mass activities such as billing postings and payment runs
• Support high-volume data processing and performance optimization
• Work on credit management, security deposits, and installment plans
• Prepare functional specifications and support ABAP developments
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support
• Provide production support and resolve FI-CA related issues
• Create functional documentation and conduct end-user training

Integration Experience

• SAP IS-U modules: Billing (BI), Invoicing (IN), Device Management (DM)
• SAP modules: FI-GL, CO, MM
• Integration with FSCM (Collections & Dispute Management)
• Experience with S/4HANA Utilities (preferred)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP IS-U FI-CA
• Deep understanding of:
• Utilities business processes
• High-volume financial postings
• Payment processing and dunning
• Experience in end-to-end IS-U implementations or rollouts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good client-facing and communication skills
