What will you be doing as an SAP IS-U Billing Technical Consultant @ delaware India

As an SAP IS-U Billing Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and supporting SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions for utility clients across electricity, gas, water, and multi-utility industries. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, developers, and integration teams to deliver scalable and efficient billing processes that support complex utility business requirements.

You will participate in end-to-end SAP IS-U implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and AMS engagements, contributing to requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, cutover planning, and post-go-live support.

As a member of our global Utilities practice, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across regions and play a key role in delivering innovative SAP S/4HANA Utilities solutions while leveraging industry best practices. You will continuously enhance your expertise in SAP Utilities, SAP S/4HANA Utilities, SAP BTP, and emerging technologies to deliver maximum value to our clients.

We are looking for following skills in our new colleague.

• 8+ years of SAP IS-U experience with strong expertise in Billing & Invoicing.
• Experience in 2+ end-to-end SAP IS-U implementation projects within Utilities (Electricity, Gas, Water, or Multi-Utilities).
• Good understanding of Meter to Cash Flow.
• Good knowledge in Utilities Billing process.
• Experience in billing enhancements, custom calculations, exceptions handling, rebilling, reversals, and performance optimization.
• Technical expertise in ABAP, Enhancements, User Exits, CDS Views, OData, BAdIs, IDocs, Web Services, APIs, SAP CPI, and/or integrations.
• Developers should possess the knowledge of: SAP HANA Technical Concept and Architecture, Data Modelling using HANA Studio, ABAP Development Tools (ADT), Code Performance Rules and Guidelines for SAP HANA, ADBC, Native SQL, ABAP Core data Services, Data Base Procedures, Text Search, ALV on HANA, and HANA Live models consumption.
• Experience with data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover, go-live, and hyper care support.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex billing issues, perform root-cause analysis, and support business users across global utility operations.
• SAP Utilities Certification and SAP S/4HANA Utilities experience preferred.
