Role Overview

We are seeking experienced SAP IS-U ABAP Consultants who can design, develop, and implement robust SAP IS-U solutions to support utility industry operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in ABAP within SAP IS-U environments and experience working in cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement SAP IS-U ABAP solutions to support and optimize utility business processes

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications

• Provide technical expertise in SAP IS-U ABAP development, ensuring high-quality and scalable deliverables

• Analyze existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in SAP IS-U environments with minimal business disruption

• Conduct system audits and ensure adherence to industry standards, coding practices, and compliance requirements

• Maintain detailed technical documentation including specifications, designs, and system configurations

• Participate in project planning, estimation, and execution to ensure timely delivery

• Engage with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives

• Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and scalability

• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, tools, and industry trends

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP IS-U ABAP development

• Strong expertise in ABAP programming within SAP IS-U environments

• Proven experience in designing and implementing technical solutions in SAP

• Experience working in utility domain projects is highly desirable

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently

• Experience working in cross-functional and collaborative team environments

• Good understanding of system performance tuning and optimization

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Commitment to continuous learning and adapting to new SAP technologies
