Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop integration scenarios using SAP CPI by creating integration flows, local & exception sub-processes, mappings, routing rules and exception handling.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integrations or data transformation within the SAP CPI landscape.
- Configure and maintain adapters, and security settings in SAP CPI.
- Strong knowledge in SAP Cloud Platform and integration protocols.
- Strong knowledge on developing value mapping and Groovy Scripts.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in SAP CPI technology and recommend innovative solutions to improve efficiency and performance.
- Perform performance analysis and tuning for individual interfaces.
- Ensure interface connectivity is configured between SAP and legacy systems.
- Provide on-going support and maintenance of the SAP CPI interfaces.
- Assist business teams with creation of integration test cases and plans. Support project teams during testing.
- Promote component reuse strategy across all development environments.
- Provide technical quality assurance.
- Ensure that development efforts adhere to analysis, design and development standards.
- Manage day-to-day issues and tasks related to the development and support of SAP interfaces.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
- Application support experience with SAP PI, WebSphere MQ, Adeptia, and Mulesoft is considered a plus.
The successful candidate should have a B.S. degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field. This position requires 5+ years experience in design, development and support of SAP CPI, SAP PI and APIM interfaces.
- Advanced software development and architectural skills with excellent knowledge of distributed computing.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and release quality products on time in an emerging technology environment.
- Experience with large scale SAP implementation projects.
- Proven experience as an SAP CPI Developer or similar role.
- Working knowledge of FILE, JMS, JDBC, MAIL, RFC, SOAP adapters and how to setup for use, including implementing SSL (require knowledge of mutual SSL).
- Knowledge on developing value mapping and Groovy Scripts.
- Experience in handling different data conversions like JSON to XML, CSV to XML etc.
- Experience in various SAP CPI pallet options content enricher, content modifier, splitter, gather etc.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of the SAP PI Advanced Adapter Engine, SAP APIM.
- Ability to establish and maintain a high-level of customer trust and confidence.
