As an SAP Inhouse Consultant you will be part of our global SAP Team, supporting, developing
and rolling out our global SAP S/4HANA template.
As our new consultant your tasks will include:
- Responsible for Monitoring SAP scheduled Jobs 24x7. Identifies and documents Issues according to pre-described Service or Operational Level Agreements.
- Provides basic Resolution or escalates as appropriate following Workflow Processes and Guidelines.
- Primarily responsible for System Monitoring, Escalation, and Execution of predefined Checklist Analysis for Performance and Availability of the SAP Systems in Scope
- Logs incident tickets to ensure that any Issues with central Systems, scheduled Jobs, and
- Reports are correctly handled and escalated to the appropriate Support Teams
- Performs Customer Coordination regarding locking Issues and long-running Jobs that affect the daily Reporting
- Understanding of SAP Performance Management Systems
- Project support during the technical implementation by customizing the business processes on a global level including the implementation of IT integration tests
- Practical experience in the development of customer-specific interfaces using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SAP CPI)
- Configuration, development and monitoring of cloud-based and on-premises interfaces based on the SAP Cloud Platform (focus: SAP CPI)
- Collaboration with the external and internal Team Members
- Consulting business processes in close cooperation with relevant departments, keeping the big picture in mind
- Development of integrative solutions
- Participation in national and international projects
- Practice-oriented knowledge enhancement within the area of S/4HANA
- Preparation of documentation and training materials
We are looking for a profile with:
- Minimum 5 Year of Experience in Customer Support for a technical Software or Hardware
- Helpdesk Environment handling Tier 1 Problems in an SAP System
- In-depth knowledge of the Services on the SAP Cloud Platform
- Experience in the SAP middleware technology CPI. Further experience in other SAP middleware technologies (HCI, PI/PO) are beneficial.
- A degree in (business) informatics, computer science or another IT related education
- Excellent English communication skills (working language is English) is a must Business fluent German language skills would be very beneficial
- Ideally you have experience with SAP from an engineering industry, preferably from an international organization
- Excellent analytical skills and able to work independently
- Intercultural understanding
- Experience working with an SAP Solution Manager
