We are seeking a skilled SAP Information Steward (IS) Consultant to lead and support our enterprise data quality and governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions using SAP Information Steward to improve the quality, transparency, and trustworthiness of data across the organization.

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

· Configure and maintain SAP Information Steward for data profiling, quality assessment, metadata management, and cleansing package creation.

· Define, implement, and manage data quality rules, validation workflows, and data scorecards across key domains such as customer, vendor, product, and finance.

· Integrate SAP IS with SAP Data Services, SAP MDG, SAP HANA, and ERP systems for end-to-end data governance workflows.

· Support data stewards and business units by providing visibility into data issues and enabling remediation through scorecards and dashboards.

· Develop and manage a metadata repository, business glossary, and lineage tracking using SAP IS tools.

· Conduct root cause analysis on data issues and provide recommendations for process improvement.

· Monitor performance of SAP IS jobs and ensure alignment with data governance policies.

· Provide documentation, training, and support to end users and stakeholders regarding SAP IS functionalities and best practices.
