Role Overview
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running.
This is a freelance / consulting opportunity, fully remote, flexible, and purely skill driven.
Key Responsibilities- Drive SAP ILM Archiving across SAP ECC / S/4HANA environments
- Implement Retention Management, Retention Policies & Legal Hold
- Execute and optimize Archiving Objects & Central ILM Store configuration
- Ensure GDPR-compliant and audit-ready data lifecycle processes
- Support ILM strategy planning, architecture, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with SAP Basis & functional teams for end-to-end ILM execution
- Prepare documentation for audit, legal, and tax requirements
Mandatory Skills- 10+ years of hands-on SAP ILM Archiving experience
- Strong command of SAP ILM Retention Management
- Deep understanding of Data Privacy, GDPR, and compliance frameworks
- Experience with content servers, archive servers, and storage integration
- Ability to lead ILM strategy end-to-end with minimal oversight
