Role Overview
This role focuses on implementing and supporting SAP IBP for Response and (a)ATP within supply chain planning. The ideal candidate must have handson experience in supply planning heuristics, optimizer configuration, allocation planning, and IBPS/4HANA/ECC integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and support SAP IBP for Response / (a)ATP for supply planning.
- Work with business users to translate requirements into system configurations.
- Design, configure, and optimize:
- Supply planning algorithms (heuristic & optimizer)
- Allocation planning & fair share distribution
- Constraint-based planning
- Integrate SAP IBP with:
- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP ECC
- External data sources
- Build and maintain planning models, key figures, and analytics using SAP Fiori and Excel UI.
- Conduct testing, create training materials, and support end users.
- Resolve system issues and improve planning performance.
- Collaborate with demand planning, inventory, procurement, and cross-functional teams.
- Provide strong AMS support for continuous improvements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 612 years of hands-on experience in SAP IBP, specifically IBP for Response / (a)ATP.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Supply planning methodologies (heuristics, optimizer, allocation).
- Integration with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and other ERP systems.
- Experience with SAP CPI-DS or SDI for data integration.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with global stakeholders.
- Willing to work in shifts and travel when required.
- Education: BE or equivalent.
Preferred / Good-to-Have
- SAP IBP Certification (Response / aATP).
- Knowledge of Demand-Driven Replenishment (DDR).
- Experience with SAP APO and migration to IBP.
