Senior SAP Hybris (SAP Commerce) Developer – BaU / Production Support

ROLE SUMMARY

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Hybris developer to support and maintain a live SAP Commerce (Hybris) storefront in a BaU model. The role is primarily production support and enhancements – debugging live issues, doing root cause analysis, monitoring logs, and delivering new requirement as needed. Strong troubleshooting skills are needed.

The storefront is Accelerator-based (JSP / JavaScript), so working knowledge of the Hybris front end is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle L3 production incidents – triage, debug, fix and close within agreed SLAs.
• Analyse application logs and dashboards in Kibana to identify and isolate issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes, not just workarounds.
• Deliver bug fixes, patches and small enhancements / change requests end to end.
• Support releases and deployments, hotfixes, and post-deployment validation.
• Troubleshoot payment failures, order processing issues and SSO / login issues in production.
• Work with business, QA and infra teams;

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

• SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce: 8+ years hands-on. Core platform, service layer, data model, ImpEx, FlexibleSearch, cronjobs, business process (BPE), Backoffice / Cockpits, WCMS.
• Hybris Front End: Accelerator storefront – JSP / JSTL, custom tag libraries, Spring MVC controllers, JavaScript / jQuery, CSS. Able to debug and change storefront pages.
• Production Debugging: Proven experience supporting a live Hybris application – log analysis, HAC, thread / heap dumps, performance and memory issues, data fixes.
• Kibana: Comfortable writing queries, building and reading dashboards, tracing a transaction across logs.
• Payment Integration: Hands-on integration with a payment gateway / PSP (e.g. Adyen, CyberSource, Worldpay, PayPal, Stripe). Understands tokenisation, 3DS, authorisation / capture, refunds, and payment reconciliation issues.
• SSO Integration: SAML 2.0 / OAuth 2.0 / OIDC with an identity provider (Okta, Azure AD, PingFederate or similar). Session, token and redirect handling within Hybris.
• Integrations: REST / SOAP web services, OCC APIs, third-party system integration and error handling.
• Engineering Basics: Java / Spring, SQL, Git, Ant / Maven, CI/CD pipelines, Agile delivery.
