Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering:
    • Engage with clients to understand their HR processes and system requirements.
    • Analyze and document business requirements and map them to SAP HR capabilities.
    • Offer best practices and strategic advice on improving HR operations through SAP.
  • SAP HR Module Configuration:
    • Configure SAP HR modules such as Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (TM), Payroll (PY), Employee Self-Service (ESS), and Manager Self-Service (MSS).
    • Design and implement custom solutions for client-specific needs, including workflows, reporting, and user interfaces.
    • Integrate SAP HR with other enterprise systems.
  • Testing & Implementation:
    • Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
    • Coordinate with development teams for any customizations or enhancements needed.
    • Provide support during system go-live, ensuring smooth transition.
  • Training & Support:
    • Train HR personnel and end-users on the SAP HR system's functionalities and best practices.
    • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution post-implementation.
    • Document processes, configurations, and knowledge transfer materials.
  • Continuous Improvement & Optimization:
    • Proactively identify areas for improvement in HR processes and propose SAP-based solutions.
    • Support for SAP HR patch update
    • Stay updated on new SAP HR features and industry trends, recommending enhancements to improve HR efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP HR (HCM) implementation and support.
    • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with SAP WebDynpro (WebDynpro for Java and ABAP).
    • Strong knowledge of HR business processes (e.g., recruitment, payroll, performance management, time management, learning & development).

  • Familiarity with HR compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in SAP HR modules (PA, OM, PY, TM, ESS/MSS).
    • Familiarity with integrations between SAP HR and other SAP modules.
    • Knowledge of SAP WebDynpro for Java and ABAP, Web Dynpro components, and UI5 development.
  • Experience with SAP HR reporting tools (e.g., SAP Query, or other reporting solutions) is added advantage.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients and teams of diverse backgrounds.
    • Detail-oriented, with a focus on process improvement and quality assurance.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure.
