Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in multiple end-to-end SAP GTS implementations, including Requirement Gathering, Blueprinting, Configuration, Testing (UT/SIT/UAT), Go-Live, and Hypercare support.
- Act as a Business Process Consultant for Global Trade Compliance, aligning business trade policies with SAP GTS system capabilities.
- Design, configure, and support SAP GTS Compliance Management, including:
- SPL (Sanctioned Party List) Screening
- Embargo Checks
- Legal Control
- License Determination & License Management
- Configure and manage Customs Management processes, including:
- Import & Export Declarations
- Product Classification (HS Code, ECCN)
- Preference Processing
- Duty Calculation and Compliance Reporting
- Drive strong integration between SAP GTS and SAP ECC/S/4HANA, including:
- Business Partner transfer
- Material Master integration
- Sales Order transfer
- Delivery document integration
- Billing document transfer
- Ensure seamless execution of Outbound export processes, ensuring compliance checks are triggered correctly during sales and delivery processing.
- Support classification processes for materials and customers to ensure accurate trade compliance and reporting.
- Conduct workshops with Global Trade Compliance, Logistics, and Sales teams to gather business requirements and translate them into SAP GTS solutions.
- Prepare and manage Functional Specifications (FS) and coordinate with technical teams for enhancements, interfaces, and RICEF objects.
- Perform configuration of:
- Control Settings
- Number Ranges
- Document Types
- Partner Determination
- Legal Regulations & Compliance Rules
- Manage data migration and ensure correct master data synchronization between ECC/S/4HANA and GTS systems.
- Support testing cycles including Integration Testing and Compliance Scenario Validation.
- Provide post-go-live support, issue resolution, and stabilization during Hypercare phase.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and corporate governance policies.
- Collaborate closely with SAP SD teams to ensure outbound document flow and export compliance checks are accurately configured.
- Maintain documentation including:
- Business Process Documents (BPD)
- Functional Design Documents (FDD)
- Configuration Documents
- User Training Materials
- Support S/4HANA transformation projects involving SAP GTS integration.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong SAP GTS Functional Consultant Profiles
- Mandatory (Experience 1) Must have minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution).
- Mandatory (Experience 2) Must have minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP GTS (Global Trade Services).
- Mandatory (Experience 3) Must have completed multiple end-to-end SAP GTS implementations (full lifecycle including Requirement Gathering, Configuration, Testing, Go-Live & Hypercare).
- Mandatory (Experience 4) Must have strong functional expertise in Outbound processes, primarily Export Control (SPL screening, Legal Control, Embargo checks, License Management).
- Mandatory (Experience 5) Must have strong knowledge in SAP GTS Compliance Management and Customs Management including Product Classification (HS Code, ECCN) and Preference Processing.
- Mandatory (Experience 6) Must have strong integration experience between SAP GTS and SAP ECC/S/4HANA including -Business Partner transfer, Material Master integration, Sales, Delivery & Billing document transfer
- Mandatory (Experience 7) Must have strong S/4HANA experience with SAP GTS integration.
- Mandatory (Stakeholder Management) Must have experience conducting requirement gathering workshops and coordinating with Global Trade Compliance teams
