Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
SAP GTS Consultant to support the implementation, enhancement, and support of
SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) solutions. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to ensure compliant and efficient global trade operations.
The role involves hands-on experience in
system configuration, integration with SAP ECC/S/4HANA, testing, issue resolution, and global rollout activities across Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and configure SAP GTS modules including Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Product Classification.
- Work on integration with SAP ECC/S/4HANA including business partner transfer, material master integration, and document transfer.
- Support Sanctioned Party List (SPL) screening, legal control checks, embargo checks, and license management.
- Maintain and manage product classification data including HS codes, ECCN, and trade compliance attributes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and global trade compliance teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops and participate in solution design discussions.
- Execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manage defect resolution.
- Support cutover planning, go-live activities, and post-production hypercare support.
- Monitor regulatory changes related to global trade compliance and support impact analysis.
- Handle change requests, system enhancements, and documentation for continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience Required
- 46 years of hands-on experience in SAP GTS implementation and support.
- Experience working with SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments.
- Experience supporting global rollout or multi-country deployment projects is an advantage.
Must Have Skills
- Strong experience in SAP GTS Compliance Management and Customs Management.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Sanctioned Party List (SPL) Screening
- Legal Control and Embargo Checks
- Product Classification (HS Code, ECCN)
- License Management
- Experience integrating SAP GTS with SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
- Experience with business requirement gathering and solution design.
- Hands-on experience in SIT and UAT testing cycles.
- Experience in issue resolution, system support, and documentation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with business stakeholders.
Good to Have Skills
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA GTS environments.
- Exposure to global rollout or multi-country trade compliance implementations.
- Knowledge of transport management integration.
- Experience supporting cutover planning, go-live, and hypercare support.
