SAP GTS Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP GTS Consultant to lead and support implementations, enhancements, and support of SAP Global Trade Services modules. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of international trade processes, customs regulations, and SAP GTS functionality including compliance management, customs management, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, configure, and support SAP GTS modules:
• Compliance Management (embargo checks, SPL, legal control)
• Customs Management (import/export declarations, transit procedures)
• Risk Management (preference processing, letter of credit)
• Integrate SAP GTS with SAP ECC/S4 HANA systems and external customs authorities.
• Analyze business requirements and design effective SAP GTS solutions.
• Provide support during the full project lifecycle – including blueprinting, configuration, testing, training, go-live, and post-go-live support.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including supply chain, logistics, finance, and legal to support global trade compliance processes.
• Customize forms, reports, and workflows as per regulatory and business needs.
• Support change management and end-user training.
• Ensure adherence to compliance regulations such as EU, US Export Control, and AEO.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP GTS functionality and performance.

Required Skills:

• 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP GTS implementations and support.
• Deep knowledge of SAP GTS modules: Compliance, Customs, and Risk Management.
• Integration experience with SAP ECC or SAP S/4 HANA, especially SD, MM, and logistics execution.
• Strong understanding of international trade compliance laws, customs procedures, and duty optimization.
• Proficiency in functional specifications, testing (SIT/UAT), and user training.
• Experience with SAP GTS plug-in configurations, master data (vendor/customer/HS codes), and legal control.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to SAP S/4 HANA environments.
• Experience with GTS integration to third-party systems (customs brokers, portals).
• Understanding of free trade agreements (FTA) and origin determination.
• Certifications in SAP GTS are a plus.
