Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) Consultant with strong expertise in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP GTS solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in global trade compliance, customs management, export/import processes, embargo and sanctioned party screening, preference management, and integration with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance, optimize global trade operations, and support end-to-end implementation, rollout, and production support projects.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, configure, and support SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) solutions.

· Implement and maintain Global Trade Compliance processes, including:

o Sanctioned Party List (SPL) Screening

o Embargo Checks

o Legal Control

o License Management

· Configure and support Customs Management for import and export processes.

· Implement Preference Management and Free Trade Agreement (FTA) processes.

· Configure Compliance Management, Customs Declaration, and Risk Management functionalities.

· Integrate SAP GTS with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP SD, MM, and TM modules.

· Configure master data, compliance rules, customs procedures, and document determination.

· Support customs documentation, export declarations, and import compliance.

· Perform system testing, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support.

· Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely functional support.

· Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and collaborate with ABAP teams.

· Maintain system documentation, business process flows, and user training materials.

Required Skills

· Strong experience in SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS).

o Global Trade Compliance

o Customs Management

o Export & Import Processing

o Sanctioned Party List (SPL) Screening

o Embargo Management

o Legal Control

o License Management

o Preference Management

o Customs Declaration

· Experience integrating SAP GTS with:

o SAP S/4HANA

o SAP ECC

o SAP SD

o SAP MM

o SAP TM

· Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance.

· Experience with IDocs, RFCs, APIs, and middleware integrations.

· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

· Experience in end-to-end implementation, rollout, migration, and support projects.

Good to Have

· Experience with SAP GTS Edition for SAP HANA.

· Knowledge of SAP Business Network and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

· Experience with EDI and third-party customs systems.

· SAP GTS Certification.

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

· Exposure to global logistics and supply chain operations.
