The Consultant Will Be Responsible For
- Designing the SAP EAM–GIS integration architecture and defining synchronized data objects and data-flow directions.
- Mapping SAP functional locations to GIS spatial objects and equipment to GIS asset layers.
- Defining unique identifiers, data standards, data ownership, systems of record, reconciliation rules, conflict resolution, and data precedence.
- Implementing automated, event-based, near-real-time, or scheduled synchronization of asset, location, spatial, status, and operational data.
- Enabling map-based work-order creation and visualization of work orders, assets, technician locations, inspection routes, and condition information.
- Supporting GIS navigation and spatial information for the mobile workforce.
- Conducting data validation, reconciliation, performance testing, and end-to-end integration testing.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience integrating SAP S/4HANA EAM with enterprise GIS platforms, including asset-data mapping, bidirectional synchronization, spatial visualization, map-based work management, data governance, and integration testing.
