Job Title: Senior SAP MM/SD Functional Consultant

Job Summary:

One of Our Client is looking for an experienced Senior SAP MM/SD Functional Consultant to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP solutions aligned with business requirements. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, strong expertise in MM and SD modules, and hands-on experience with invoice processing, tax configuration, statutory reporting, and e-invoicing integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP MM and SD modules based on business needs.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.

Provide functional expertise in SAP MM and SD with a strong focus on:

Invoice processing

Tax configuration

Statutory and regulatory reporting

Translate business requirements into SAP solutions through process mapping and best-practice recommendations.

Prepare and oversee functional specifications for RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows).

Work closely with stakeholders to understand statutory requirements and support e-invoicing processes.

Map business requirements to SAP functionalities, primarily within MM and SD modules.

Coordinate with ABAP and middleware teams for API-based integrations between SAP and government GST/e-invoicing portals or third-party service providers.

Manage and troubleshoot IDoc processing and interface-related issues.

Support API-based integrations between SAP and external systems.

Prepare comprehensive documentation including:

Functional Specifications (FS)

Technical Specifications (TS)

UAT scripts and test scenarios

Provide support during UAT, cutover, and go-live phases.

Key Skills & Requirements:

8+ years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant.

Strong hands-on experience in SAP MM and SD modules.

In-depth knowledge of invoice processing, tax configuration, and statutory compliance.

Experience with e-invoicing and GST-related integrations (mandatory/statutory exposure preferred).

Strong understanding of IDoc processing and interface management.

Knowledge of API-based integrations between SAP and external/government systems.

Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
