V2 Retail Limited is one of India's fastest-growing value-fashion retail chains, operating 399+ stores nationwide with distribution centres and a strong technology backbone supporting store operations, supply chain, and finance. We are expanding our SAP Center of Excellence and are looking for experienced SAP Functional Consultants across Materials Management (MM), Warehouse Management (WM), and Finance (FI) to help us scale, optimize, and support our retail SAP S/4HANA landscape.
We are hiring for three specialized roles under the SAP Functional Consultant track. Candidates should apply for the module that matches their core expertise:
- SAP MM Functional Consultant – Procurement & Inventory
- SAP WM Functional Consultant – Warehouse & Logistics
- SAP FI Functional Consultant – Finance & Controlling
Key Responsibilities
Common to All Modules
- Participate in end-to-end SAP project activities: requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, training, documentation, and go-live/post-go-live support.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and work with ABAP/technical teams on enhancements.
- Conduct unit, integration, and UAT; prepare test scripts, user manuals, SOPs, and training materials.
- Provide L2/L3 production support and resolve incidents within SLA timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth end-to-end process integration.
- Support rollout of new stores, distribution centres, and business units from a functional module perspective.
SAP MM – Materials Management
- Configure and support Purchasing, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification, and Material Master.
- Manage retail-specific procurement flows: vendor onboarding, seasonal buying, purchase orders, stock transfers, and merchandising requirements.
- Handle subcontracting, pricing procedures, and vendor master/info records.
- Integrate MM with SD, WM/EWM, FICO, PP, and Retail (AFS) modules.
- Support periodic stock audits, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
SAP WM – Warehouse Management
- Configure Inbound & Outbound processes, Putaway, Picking, Packing, and Goods Movement.
- Manage Storage Bin & Storage Type setup, Cycle Counting, and Physical Inventory.
- Support RF transactions, Handling Unit (HU) Management, and Batch Management.
- Assist with cross-docking, wave picking, and yard management scenarios.
- Integrate WM with MM, SD, PP, and LE modules; drive warehouse automation and optimization best practices.
SAP FI – Finance & Controlling
- Configure and support General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring statutory and compliance adherence.
- Handle taxation setups including GST, TDS, Withholding Tax, and VAT.
- Ensure smooth FI integration with MM, SD, and CO modules.
- Conduct business process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, or a related field.
- SAP MM: 3+ years of SAP MM functional experience with at least 2 end-to-end implementations; hands-on in PR/PO/Contracts, GR/GI/Stock Transfers, Material & Vendor Master, Subcontracting, Pricing, and Invoice Verification.
- SAP WM: 5+ years of SAP WM functional experience on large-scale implementation, rollout, or support projects; strong hands-on in warehouse processes and configuration.
- SAP FI: Minimum 3 years of SAP FI hands-on project experience with strong understanding of financial processes, accounting standards, statutory reporting, and taxation configuration.
- Solid integration knowledge across the relevant SAP modules (MM/WM/SD/FI/CO/LE/Retail).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project retail environment.
- Experience in the fashion/apparel or retail industry is a strong advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA (MM / WM-EWM / Finance) functionalities.
- Relevant SAP module certification (MM / WM / EWM / FI) is a plus.
- Exposure to RFID, POS integration, and store/retail replenishment processes (MM).
- Knowledge of Transport Management (TM) integration (WM).
- Experience with multi-country/multi-currency environments or FSCM modules – Credit Management, Treasury, Dispute Management (FI).
