A leading global enterprise is seeking a SAP Functional Consultant, experienced with Business process optimisation, to support large-scale transformation initiatives and enterprise SAP implementations. This role will play a key part in driving business process optimisation, solution delivery, and stakeholder engagement across complex SAP landscapes.

We are looking for a strong functional consultant with experience translating business requirements into scalable SAP solutions, while working closely with business users, technical teams, and delivery stakeholders throughout the full project lifecycle.

This opportunity would suit a proactive and delivery-focused SAP consultant who combines strong functional expertise with excellent stakeholder engagement skills. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating within fast-paced enterprise programmes and driving business-focused SAP transformation initiatives from concept through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and process owners to understand and analyse business requirements
• Lead business process optimisation initiatives and recommend scalable SAP-driven solutions
• Conduct workshops, fit-gap analysis sessions, and solution design discussions across multiple business functions
• Configure SAP solutions aligned to functional requirements and business objectives
• Support end-to-end implementation activities including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution activities
• Work closely with technical teams, developers, and integration specialists to ensure successful solution delivery
• Support change management, data migration, and cutover activities during implementation phases
• Act as the key functional liaison between business stakeholders and project delivery teams
• Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement recommendations across SAP processes and solutions

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an SAP Functional Consultant within enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in:
• Business process optimisation
• SAP solution design and configuration
• Functional testing and UAT coordination
• Stakeholder and client management
• Experience delivering end-to-end SAP implementation projects
• Strong understanding of business process mapping, requirements gathering, and fit-gap analysis
• Ability to engage confidently with both business and technical stakeholders
• Experience working across cross-functional SAP environments and enterprise transformation programmes
• Strong communication, workshop facilitation, and documentation skills

Desirable Experience

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environments
• Experience across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Operations, or Sales functions
• SAP certification is advantageous
• Experience within global enterprise or regulated environments is beneficial
