Responsibilities
SAP FIORI / UI5 Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SAP FIORI and SAPUI5 applications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement custom and standard FIORI apps using SAP Web IDE and SAP BAS.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and issue resolution for FIORI/UI5 applications.
- Ensure integration with existing SAP modules and backend systems.
- Maintain documentation for development processes, technical design, and user guides.
- Follow SAP FIORI design guidelines, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Support & ECAD/Tool Responsibilities
(Candidate MUST currently be in a Support role. Only Design background without support experience is NOT acceptable.)
- Provide technical support for ECAD, ORCAD, AUTOCAD, and other PCB-related tools.
- Handle L1/L2 tool support, issue resolution, ticketing, and user assistance.
- Perform CAD administration tasks including P4, license handling, and environment configuration.
- Support simulation tools; handle installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Manage PCB process workflow support and component library structure queries.
- Support Cadence application (Allegro), Xpedition EDM, Altium, OrCAD tools.
- Provide IT support, automation support, and tool-level troubleshooting.
- Ensure smooth operations for CAD/ECAD environments within engineering teams.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- Doctorate + 3 years of relevant experience OR
- Master's Degree + 4 years of relevant experience OR
- Bachelor's Degree + 6 years of relevant experience Technical diploma holders can also be considered.
Mandatory Experience
SAP/UI5 Must-Haves
- Minimum 6 years of experience in SAP Frontend development (SAPUI5/Fiori).
- Strong understanding of SAPUI5 controls, routing, components, and data binding.
- Expertise in FIORI Design patterns and UI Theme Designer.
- Hands-on experience with annotations, smart controls, Freestyle apps.
- Strong HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, JSON skills.
- Experience with OData services (consume & create).
- Basic understanding of SAP ABAP for backend integration.
- Experience in FIORI Gateway, FIORI Launchpad configuration.
- Experience in Fiori Elements, CDS Views.
- SAP BAS and SAP Web IDE experience.
ECAD/Support Must-Haves
- MUST be working in a support-focused role.
- IT support + Tool support experience is essential.
- Support experience in ECAD / ORCAD / AUTOCAD tools.
- Experience supporting Cadence Allegro, Altium, OrCAD.
- Hands-on with Xpedition EDM and Cadence applications.
- Strong understanding of PCB process steps.
- Experience supporting simulation tools.
- Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and tool automation experience.
- Ticketing systems familiarity.
Preferred / Added Advantage
- SAP BTP experience: SAP Build, SAP Build Process Automation, Workzone.
- SAP BTP Frameworks: CAP or RAP.
- Experience with web services and REST API integrations.
- Electrical engineering background or past Electrical Design experience now transitioned into Support.
