SAP Finance & R2A Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Finance Consultant with strong expertise in General Ledger, General Accounting, Record-to-Account (R2A), and Month-End Closing processes. The ideal candidate has hands-on SmartClose implementation/deployment experience and a proven track record delivering SAP S/4HANA transformation and global template rollouts in multinational environments. This role involves end-to-end project delivery, from requirements gathering through go-live and hypercare, working closely with business and IT stakeholders across APAC.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on functional expertise in SAP Finance, General Ledger, General Accounting, R2A, and Month-End Closing processes.
• Lead or support SmartClose implementation and deployment, including integration with Finance and financial closing processes.
• Contribute to SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives, including global template implementation and rollouts across multinational environments.
• Own end-to-end project delivery, including:
• Requirements gathering
• To-Be process design
• Functional specifications
• Configuration
• Testing (SIT/UAT)
• Data migration
• Cutover planning
• Go-live and hypercare support
• Collaborate with business and IT teams across the APAC region to align on requirements, design decisions, and delivery milestones.
• Manage multiple concurrent initiatives and prioritize effectively across competing timelines.
• Travel as required to support project delivery, workshops, and go-live activities.

Who We're Looking For

Required:

• Hands-on experience in SAP Finance, General Ledger, General Accounting, R2A (Record-to-Account), and Month-End Closing.
• Mandatory SmartClose implementation/deployment experience, including integration with Finance and financial closing processes.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformation, global template implementation, and rollouts — preferably in multinational environments.
• Demonstrated end-to-end project experience: requirements gathering, To-Be design, functional specifications, configuration, testing, data migration, cutover, and go-live/hypercare.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across business and IT teams in the APAC region.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and travel when required.
