Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated SAP FICO Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our SAP FICO modules, providing essential support, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our financial processes. You will play a key part in maintaining our financial data integrity and supporting our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Controlling
- Perform detailed ticket analysis to identify root causes and implement effective solutions for L1/L2 issues.
- Assist in the configuration, testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases of SAP FICO implementations and enhancements.
- Maintain the integrity of master data, including customer, vendor, asset, and cost center records.
- Collaborate closely with Materials Management (MM) and Sales and Distribution (SD) teams to ensure seamless integration across modules.
- Prepare comprehensive functional specifications for new developments and enhancements within the SAP FICO landscape.
- Provide critical support during month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Participate in go-live activities and provide ongoing post-go-live support to ensure a smooth transition and user adoption.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to document key processes and facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Deliver effective end-user training sessions to enhance user proficiency and adoption of SAP FICO functionalities.
Required Qualification:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant
- ant.Deep functional knowledge of finance and controlling principles and practices.
- Solid understanding of integration points between SAP FICO and other modules, particularly MM and SD.
- Proven experience working in a support environment, resolving incidents and fulfilling service requests.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications/Good to Have
- Experience with S/4HANA Finance.
- Knowledge of SAP reporting tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Experience with data migration projects.
